OptiVault is your AI-powered personal financial advisor that helps you build wealth intelligently. Our platform enables you to:

• Track and categorize your spending automatically
• Create and manage personalized budgets
• Monitor your financial goals and progress
• Access AI-powered insights and financial advice
• Securely connect your bank accounts for real-time data
• Automate your savings and wealth-building strategies

We aim to provide accurate financial tools and insights to help you make better money decisions and achieve your financial goals.

2. Your Account & Responsibilities

When you create an OptiVault account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Use the app solely for personal finance management
• Not share your account with others
• Report any unauthorized access immediately

3. Acceptable Use

What You Can Do

OptiVault is designed for personal financial management. You may use our service to track expenses, manage budgets, and receive financial insights for your personal use.

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our authorization
• Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of our systems
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

4. Financial Data & Third-Party Services

OptiVault integrates with Plaid and other trusted financial service providers to securely access your bank account information. By using our service, you authorize us to:

• Retrieve your transaction history from connected accounts
• Analyze your spending patterns and financial data
• Provide personalized insights based on your financial information
• Store your financial data securely in encrypted form

We use bank-level encryption and follow strict security standards to protect your financial information. However, you acknowledge that no system is 100% secure, and you use the service at your own risk.

5. Free Trial & Subscription

Free Trial

OptiVault offers a 7-day free trial that provides full access to all features. During the trial period:

• You can explore all premium features without charge
• You may cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges
• If you don't cancel, your subscription will automatically begin

Subscription & Billing

After your trial period:

• Monthly or annual billing begins automatically unless cancelled
• Payments are processed securely through the App Store
• You may cancel your subscription at any time without cancellation fees
• Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds for partial months or unused time

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. You will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Limitation of Liability

OptiVault provides financial tools and insights for informational purposes only. Please understand:

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim liability for:

• Financial decisions made based on information provided by OptiVault
• Service interruptions, outages, or technical issues
• Data inaccuracies from third-party financial institutions
• Loss of data or unauthorized access despite our security measures
• Third-party service disruptions (including Plaid or banking institutions)

Always verify important financial information with your financial institutions. Use OptiVault as a tool to help organize and understand your finances, but make important financial decisions in consultation with qualified professionals.

7. Account Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:

• Your access to OptiVault will immediately cease
• Your personal data will be permanently removed per our Privacy Policy
• Connected bank accounts will be automatically disconnected
• This action cannot be undone

Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. Before termination, we will:

• Attempt to contact you about the violation
• Provide an opportunity to resolve the issue when possible
• Only terminate as a last resort for serious or repeated violations

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect:

• New features or services we introduce
• Changes in legal or regulatory requirements
• Improvements to our service or policies

When we make changes:

• You'll receive notification at least 30 days before changes take effect
• Continued use of OptiVault after changes means you accept the new terms
